Using a USB 3.1 (2nd gen) male to male cable my elitebook is recognizing the external monitors (dell P2213f) but the monitor gives the no-input message. I've updated tot the latest firmware but without result. Previous owner was using a Thunderbolt 3 cable to connect the dock to a laptop.

Currently, my laptop is connected to Monitor 1 using an HDMI cable. Monitor 1 is connected to Monitor 2 using a displayport cable and usb-c cable. however, neither one of those options worked. Seems like only Monitor 1 is getting signal. But Monitor 2 doesnt detect any signal at all.
