The 6D Mk II is very well made of plastic and metal. There's metal on the inside and for the lens mount and hot shoe where we need it, and the exterior is otherwise all plastic to keep the weight down. Canon calls it "Polycarbonate resin with special conductive and glass fiber," which are fancy words for fancy plastic.
